About Us
Haka Matata is situated in the heart of the Waitaki Lakes district, at the foot of the Benmore Hydro dam. This area is renowned for fishing, boating and water sports and a range of adventure activities. The accommodation is at the mid-section of the Alps to Ocean Cycle trail.
We provide flexible accommodation options for small or larger groups with meal options ranging from self catering through to bed, breakfast and dinner for up to three couples.
Our self-contained appartment has one queen bed and an additional pull-out couch. There is secure bike storage, outdoor seating to admire the stunning views and a heatpump for the cooler evenings.
In the main house two rooms are available, a king and a queen.
